Just Like a Dragonfly

(Dress - Style Stalker, Boots - Acne, PS1 Bag - Proenza Schouler, Madrid Wool Hat - NASTY GAL, Ring - Low Luv X Erin Wasson)

After lusting over this Acne boot for the past year, a really great deal presented itself, and I am now the proud owner of these lovely boots. I wore them for the first time yesterday, and I managed to scuff both boots while wobbling up two flights of stairs. To top it off, the venue that stole my boots virginity was terrible and we left after ten minutes.

This morning, two hours before our flight, my boyfriend and I decided to ditch our trip to Vegas for two of our favorite things, sleep and pho. We're both in major phood comas right now and debating on whether we will go see Hangover 2. Has anyone seen it yet? I've heard mixed reviews and that it wasn't as good as the first.

Wishing Everyone a beautiful Sunday,

Jennifer

Walking Down a Railroad Line

(Madrid Wool Hat - NASTY GAL, Vintage Quilted Bag - Chanel, Dress - Hellz Bellz, Brogue Loafer - Asos)

Wow, I had such an amazing weekend filled with so much joy and inspiration. I'm still on cloud nine. On Saturday, I did a little shopping and scored big when I picked up this Hellz Bellz dress at a local boutique. I grabbed the dress, looked at the tag and saw that it was an extra small, and then I thought to myself, "Damn it, I don't care if you're an extra small and I'm a small, just get on my body now." With a little help from the owner, we managed to get the back zipped up and that pretty much sealed the deal.

I was in for an even bigger treat on Sunday, when I finally had the chance to catch up on a few of my favorite blogs. Holy inspiration, ladies, I really can't get enough of you. So addicting.

I wish everyone a beautiful week filled with productivity and happiness!

Peace,

Jennifer

The Times They Are-a Changin'

(Madrid Wool Hat - NASTY GAL, Sheer Blouse - Vintage, Diego Bucket Bag - Alexander Wang, Stars & Stripes Pant - Joyrich, Lita Platform - Jeffrey Campbell)

For the past few weeks, I have been debating on when it would be appropriate to debut these pants. I decided on Monday that there is no time like now, so I wore them to lunch, the post office, and Michaels Crafts. I will say, that I have never received so many strange looks in all my years. Who knew that my Joyrich Stars & Stripes pant would ruffle so many feathers on back to work Monday.

On a side note, I'm super stoked that the weekend is almost here. I'm spent. If this latte doesn't kick in soon, I'm seconds away from face planting on my keyboard.

Happy Thursday!

Walk This Way With Me

(Floppy Wool Hat - Top Shop, Vintage Pearl Necklace - Chanel, Sheer Blouse - Vintage, Lace Tap Short - Free People, Faux Fur Bag - Vintage, Foxy Platform - Jeffrey Campbell)

Yesterday, I literally pulled out all of my current favorite pieces and threw them together and VoilĂ , I was ready for dinner with my dear friends visiting from Sydney, Australia. We had the most amazing Indian food at Gourmet India, where I savored every last bite of my Garlic Naan and Tofu Curry. We stopped by Lincoln Room for a "roadie" and then called it an early night. I was in bed by one and caught up on some much needed rest and relaxation. I hope that everyone had a beautiful weekend and enjoyed it as much as I did.

Peace,

Jennifer

Keep on Rockin' in the Free World

(Madrid Wool Hat - NASTY GAL, Knuckle Buster - NASTY GAL, American Flag Top & Thrasher Shorts - Mink Pink, Braided Belt - Vintage, Diego Bag - Alexander Wang, Lita Platform - Jeffrey Campbell)

I currently have a major obsession with any article of clothing containing stars and stripes. The problem with that is they're a dime a dozen these days, and it's driving me mad because I want them all. I've missed out three times on an amazing UNIF American flag sheer blouse, and now the JC Lita Stars & Stripes Platform in size 8 have disappeared just like that. What do you guys think of all the different flag prints on clothing? I just can't seem to get enough!

Nadi, Fiji

Fiji is rich in traditional culture and they use a native language that defines happiness. Their warm hospitality surpasses any Country that I've visited to date. You'll never pass a Fijian without friendly eye contact and a warm "Bula" which means "Hello" in Fijian. If you visit Fiji, I highly recommend going into Nadi town to visit the temple and market. Nadi town is also great for bartering. I found the food to be incredibly delicious with choices ranging from Indian to traditional Fijian dishes. I'm home relaxed, refreshed, and more cultured than when I left, so I define that as a wonderful trip. "Sota Tale" my friends, I'm back to work!
